The 5th International Conference on Smart Energy and Clean Energy Power Generation Technology (SECP 2026) was successfully convened from May 29 to 31, 2026, at the Changjiang New Area Campus of Hubei University.


The conference comprised one main venue and three parallel sub-venues, and featured a diverse range of academic exchange formats, including five keynote presentations, 13 invited presentations, 18 oral presentations, and 20 poster presentations. Approximately 300 distinguished scholars and experts from seven countries — Australia, Austria, Pakistan, Morocco, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, and China — attended the conference, engaging in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge technologies and industrial advancements in the field of smart energy and clean energy power generation.

The conference was hosted by Hubei University and organized by the School of New Energy and Electrical Engineering, Hubei University. The conference commenced in a solemn and dignified atmosphere. Professor Li Zhen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of Hubei University, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome address. The sessions of the conference were chaired by Professor Mei Tao, Dean of the School of New Energy and Electrical Engineering; Professor Wu Congcong, Associate Dean; and Professor Deng Heming, Associate Dean, respectively.
